Which courses are offered for free?

All courses are free for 16-18s if they are on a govenment funded programme. There are also some free courses for 19+ and these are indicated within specific advertisements. Addtionally, you should be able to be supported by way of referral to providers from within the courses and jobs network.  

Which awarding body is being used for the free courses?

Various awarding bodies are being used because each provider would have their own. You will be able to get this information from specific course providers. They would be more than happy to help.

Are the courses accredited?

Yes, of course, for the majority of the courses, as far as we are aware, however, there might be some training courses which are not necessarily accredited by awarding bodies as some short courses or CPD training might require an in-house qualification. (In-house qualification – issued by the training organisation)

What is the criteria/eligibility for a free course?

This will vary according to the funding stream, the course, the training organisation and so on.

Do I have to attend college for free courses or I can study online?

It depends on the course, the training organisation and so on. You would be able to get an answer to this question from the organisations directly. They would be more than happy to help, however, this should be stated on the advert on the site here so ensure to check properly.  Addtionally, you should be able to be supported by way of referral to providers from within the courses and jobs network.  

What is the difference between online studies and distance studies?

Good question. All are done virtually via an e-learning platform in most cases and materials and support are provided online. However, in terms of distance learning, it can involve online involvement, as well, but most providers still include paper-based element where training materials are sent in the mail.

What is the duration of these courses?

It depends on the course, the training organisation and so on. It varies.

I am working, am I eligible for free courses?

Yes. It will depend on your age category, the course and so on.

What is a fee paying course?

This means individuals have to pay for the course themselves without government funding.

Are the fees subsidised?

Yes, in some cases.

What are student loan courses?

A student can complete a course if he or she is over the age of 19 by taking out a loan called Advanced Learner Loan and they will be required to pay it back when they start to earn over a certain threshold. See more information here:

I live outside of the UK can I still enroll with colleges?

Yes, with some colleges but you will not be able to access government funding from the UK. You would need to pay for the course(s) yourself.

Is it possible to study more than one course at a time?

Yes! and it also depends on the level you are currently working at. The training organisations will always give you an initial assessment which is a part of the information Advice and Guidance (IAG) process.

How do I enroll on a course?

It varies with each training organisation so you will need to contact them. However, we are happy to provide support with this so please contact us.

How do I submit my coursework?

It varies with each training organisation and they will inform you of the process  during the enrollment and induction period. 

What If I want to cancel my course?

It varies with each training organisation so you will need to discuss this with them if the need arises.

Can I swap courses if I change my mind?

Yes, most course providers have a process for this as your learning needs will be taken into consideration.

I’ve found the course cheaper with another college, can you beat their price?

This is something you would have to discuss with individual providers.


Is it free to advertise on your website?

Yes for a specifc period agreed between you and your support specialist. 

How many ads can we post at a time?

As many as you require currently.  

Can we manage our  Ads?

Yes, this can be done from the dashboard when you log in. Alternatiely, we do this for you which is what is being requested by most of the employers in the network.  

We had posted a job and the vacancy has been filled, how can we remove this Ad? 

This can be done from the dashboard or contact a Support Specialist to do this for you.

How do we post our ad especially under the classifed ads section?

You have the option to login and create an account so that you can access your dashboard to do this or you can contact us on 020 3475 5499 and a support specialist can support you with this.  As a matter of fact, you can complete the submit an ad link with the details and we will do the designs and all for you. We are currently managing all the postings and will create the advert for you.  

Where does someone go after clicking on our job?

Once they click on your offer, it takes them to the page of the full description of the role and the facility for them to apply.

How do I know where our Jobs will appear?

Once you have posted the job and it is approved by our team, then you will be able to see it under the search option.  You can also see it under Manage Offers on your dashboard. However, if the advert is being created by our supoprt team, then you will be able to see the ad online once done and approved.  

Could you provide more information about the demographics of the candidates who use your site?

Candidates are located within the UK. 

Do you have any options to increase the visibility of our job posting?

Yes, this is an ongoing process as we have a marketing team that specialises in this area. Also we send out regular emails and text messages as we strongly believe that email and text messaging marketing are effective.  

Can we put different and multiple job descriptions and requirements in one job posting?

We strongly recommend that this approach is not taken.  It is best to create an ad for each offer description.  Keep it simple!

How do we check if our job is posted successfully?

Once it is approved, it will be visible under the search option and also once you have posted it, you will be able to see it under the tab – Manage Offers – which is located on your dashboard. Alternatively, if your advert is managed by us then you will see the advert on the site.  

Can we edit listings that we’ve already listed on your site?

Yes, you certainly can.  The option is there on your dashboard under the tab – Manage Offers or we can do it for you

How can we delete a job?

This can be done directly from your dashboard under the Manage Offers tab or contact us. 


How do I register?

Please go to the JOBSEEKERS tab on the site to register. Some part of the site does not require registeration so please check.  

Do I need to login to search?

Yes, you will need to login to search.

I am 16 and don’t have a CV, can you build a CV for me?

Yes, we will be able to support you with this.  You will need to submit a draft version initially and then assigned a support specialist. However, this is applicable only to those who are registered with us.  Addtionally, you should be able to be supported by way of referral to providers from within the courses and jobs network.  

Do I have to pay any fees?

Courses are free for our 16-18s and some courses are free for some 19 year old depending on their date of birth at the beginning of the academic year.  That is, they will be eligible if they became 19 after 31 August which means they were 18 at the beginning of the academic year.  If you are 19 and over, it is also free for you if you are currently registered as unemployed with your local job centre.  It also depends on the course and the level. 

How soon can I get a job?

We are unable to provide a turn-around time as it all depends on the short-listing process by specific employers.  Also, do not forget that we are advertising  or referring and not responsible for the short-listing process. The shortlisting process is the decision of the employer. Additionally, you should be able to be supported by way of referral to providers from within the courses and jobs network.  

Do you match jobs as per my CV?

Yes and we will also contact you if required.

I am 20 years old, can I upload my CV?

Yes, you can upload your CV in order to seek employment but no for under 16s.

Can I email you my CV?

No, this needs to be updated under your user profile on your user dashboard or from the actual site. There is a link there for that.  If you are experiencing difficulties with this, contact a support Specialist.

We cannot assure you that you will receive clients or assignments if you register on our site as it all depends on how competitive your offer is and what our  users are looking for.

There are a variety of options already placed on the website, however, it all depends on what you have to offer to our  service users.  Take the opportunity to showcase your skills.

How will students/candidates contact us, if we prefer this option?

You have two options. The first option is for the students to contact you directly through your details that will be placed on the site or the second option is  – you can approve for all contacts to be made through us. A Support Specialist will then be assigned to you for this purpose and may also support with the short-listing process. Kindly note that supporting with shortlisting will carry a small fee, this fee can be discussed and negotiated, it depends on the position and the level of work we will get involved with.

Can you upload the courses we provide?

Yes, we are able to upload the courses for you.  However, you will need to submit the details on the submit an ad link which should include your website URL.
